About the centre
Originally built as a retreat for composer Sir George Henschel in 1901, the centre is set in 17 acres of park and woodland surrounded by hills and looking across to the Cairngorms. Take the tour.
The centre can accommodate up to 45 pupils in modern bunk-bedded dorms. One en-suite dorm is wheelchair accessible and located on the ground floor. There are separate en-suite rooms for teachers.
In the main house we have a comfortable lounge, conservatory and dining area. We have a separate meeting room with full audio visual facilities. Our sports building has a games gallery with pool table, table tennis, air hockey and two purpose-built classrooms with whiteboards and a wide range of resources.
